Thomas Restaurant Santa Teresa Gallura

Via Valle D'Aosta, 22, Santa Teresa Gallura

Description

Santa Teresa Gallura sits at the tip of Sardinia, facing the Strait of Bonifacio with a light that is uniquely its own — sharp, salt-tinged, bouncing off wind-smoothed granite and Mediterranean scrubland before dissolving into a sea that shifts between emerald and deep cobalt. Ristorante Thomas belongs to this landscape, drawing from it the flavours and rhythms of a cuisine that is both rooted and quietly inventive. The dining rooms carry the same character as the surrounding Gallura region: refined without ostentation, warm without informality. The wine selection leans on the island's best labels, the menu moves between freshly caught fish, carefully sourced meat and handmade pasta built on Sardinian grain — all of it adaptable into tailored menus for weddings, private celebrations, corporate dinners and exclusive receptions. The team works alongside event organisers to shape every course around the occasion, treating each event with the same attentiveness reserved for long-standing guests. For those planning a wedding reception, a civil ceremony dinner or a high-end corporate event in northern Sardinia, the restaurant's location in the heart of Santa Teresa Gallura adds a layer of practical ease: the town's historic centre, its nearby coves and the ferry connections to Corsica make it a natural hub for guests arriving from across Italy and beyond. Picture the table set as the evening light fades over the granite headlands, the scent of myrtle drifting through open windows, and a meal that feels like it could only happen here. That is the kind of event Ristorante Thomas is built to host.

We had a nice time in the restaurant, but I could have been great. The service was nice, but lacked information on the dishes. Our Argentinian waiter was very kind. We ordered the tasting menu existing out of many courses but here it comes. Everything was made basically premade and therefor not warm, or cold. The oyster was too warm, the soup and warm dishes almost cold loosing the taste. The outstanding dish was the Sardinian steak, amazing quality!

A real treat! Specialised in fish, with good fresh produce and well prepared. A bit pricey but the work shows, you can feel it on the plate! It's worth it. The only regret is that we didn't stay long enough to go back

What a show ‼️🫅 A Frenchman in Sardinia We were amazed by the quality of this place. The restaurant is splendid, the welcome and service are exemplary and the cuisine is extraordinary. It is flawless. Plan a budget of around 100€ approximately drinks included while treating yourself well. See you soon 🤝

Best restaurant in town! Stopped by for lunch and got a delicious steak. Don’t reccomend the squid, it was not good.

Food was fantastic and their take on Tiramisu is equal to the best I’ve had in Maranello. Clean, tidy, priced well and service excellent.

A truly excellent fish dinner. Special mention for the fregola which was exceptional, one of the best I've ever eaten! A simply-looking restaurant, but very popular (reservations highly recommended!)

Ristorante Da Thomas was our favourite place to eat in Santa Teresa di Gallura. The food was very good, with the cruditè di pesce standing out for its freshness. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and the service was friendly and attentive. It’s a bit on the pricey side, but the quality makes it worth it.

The best restaurant in the area for food and service. Top quality ingredients, very fresh fish, superb chef, very refined atmosphere, very professional staff. Highly recommended are the spaghetti with clams and bottarga, the best in all of Sardinia (having traveled all of it in my 55 years of life…). Why? Because the bottarga from Cabras is not a supporting actor but the main one, present in generous quantities, because the spaghetti is al dente, and the garlic, oil and parsley are carefully blended together. The starters are also excellent. Highly recommended.

We had a great time here (end of march '26)! Delicious meals with beautiful presentation. A special mention goes out to the pastry chef for the amazing presentation and also Giovanni who is a great server and went out of his way to make our dinners there a special occasion. Thank you!

This restaurant is simply unmissable. The raw fish is something extraordinary: incredibly fresh, delicate, presented with elegance and with pairings that enhance without overpowering the natural flavor of the catch. The first courses are equally spectacular with the highest quality ingredients. You can feel the care and passion in every dish. Highly recommended!
